Project Overview

How do you transform public transport into a fully immersive mobile brand experience — and create meaningful engagement within just a few minutes of visitor time?

For a multi-day promotional campaign, an entire tram was transformed into a mobile showroom — creating an interactive brand activation that brought the NIVEA experience directly into public space.

Challenge

Increasing Structural Complexity

Like many entertainment venues, the technical setup had evolved over time. Expansions and adjustments added functionality, but also increased structural complexity.

While the arena was fully operational, the growing number of system layers and dependencies made transparency and maintainability more demanding. For a venue with continuous gameplay and high visitor turnover, shortening signal paths and reducing potential points of friction became a logical next step.

SOLUTION

Structured System Optimization

A full technical inventory and system mapping formed the basis for optimization. An independent development environment allowed the refined architecture to be tested without disrupting operations. Control logic and signal paths were streamlined, reducing complexity through centralized system management. Existing DSP infrastructure was recalibrated to enable automated audio level adaptation during announcements, improving clarity while preserving immersion.
